The therapy I offer is individualized for your needs to support and guide you towards the change you desire. After many years sitting with clients I have heard painful stories, deep truths, and experiences difficult to share. My office is a place where you may feel comfortable to be open, honest and accepted for who you are. We all have unique strengths, struggles, and goals. No one is a diagnosis! I am flexible with my therapeutic style, allowing you to drive the session while offering support, feedback, guidance, and occasionally a little push towards those "ah-ha" moments. So bring on your hard feelings! I can handle it and most importantly, I can help you handle it.

Twyla holds a Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mindfulness. She is a licensed therapist in private practice in Valencia, California. Prior to becoming a therapist, Twyla was an educator for over 14 years. Her extensive background in child development has provided a unique understanding of some of the issues that children, adolescents and families experience.
